Abram Rozga
Warsaw, Poland
Abram Rozga born in Warsaw, Poland in 1917. At 24 years old he left Warsaw for Israel, working with an electric company, only days before the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, May 1941. He lost his entire family.
He stayed in Tel Aviv, Israel. He was a part of the British Brigade. In 1952 he met and married Malka Seporah (Rose) Lewin. They had their first child Selma in 1954.
All three immigrated to the U.S. in 1957 to Indianapolis, Indiana. Their second child, Esther, was born in 1958. They then moved to Atlanta and their third child, Max, was born in 1959. Daddy was quiet, soft spoken with a heavy Polish accent. He was proud of being an American and loved his family.
